Dialing in VTA on an SL-1200 usually means buying a taller headshell or shimming with washers that won't sit flat.
Modeled to the 1/2" cartridge-mount standard. A clean 1/2/3 mm shim set raises arm height without a new headshell.

Will this match the original color exactly?
Close but not identical — decades of oxidation mean originals vary. The finish reads the same at arm's length. We have not had a return for color mismatch.
